The phone we have all been waiting for is finally going to be in the market soon! Making its foray into the latest set of smartphones to hit the market, Sony Ericsson has recently announced its brand new Xperia. The X1 is the first of this new series and promises a wide range of features. With features such as a handset with ‘arc sliding’ mechanisms and GPS inbuilt, we might just queue up to get access to this phone once it launches in the market!
Rich host of features
Operating on the Windows Mobile 6 version the Xperia X1 comes with full QWERTY that leverages the operating system to its maximum potential. The central focus of this smartphone is on mobile web as well as multimedia forms of communication. The phone comes with HSDPA 3G connectivity. This can work out great for all those of us who are always on the go! The touch screen display is fairly wide measuring around 3 inches in width (a great feature if you want to navigate through pictures or videos online.) One of the plus points of the Xperia X1 is that it has a unique interface of its own that aims to overcome the restrictions of the Microsoft operating system interface. This being the first model in the Xperia series, we can surely expect more features to come in subsequent models. On the whole – the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 is a surefire winner!
